Default Stainless Cables & Lines

I am looking to replace the clutch cable and front brakes line on my '08 Road King with braided stainless. Any recommendations? Am I best-off going with the Diamondback lines from Harley or are there better after-market lines and cables? Looking for good quality stainless brake lines & clutch cable at a good price as well...

+1 on the Magnum lines, as a matter of fact they actually make the Diamond back lines for HD. Check eBay after finding out what numbers you need. I was able to snag a lower set of the Sterling Chromite for my '08 FLHT for $16 Shipped.

Love your Avatar Dr. Plastic!
Any preferences between Sterling Chromite II and stainless lines?

I got the Chromite and didn't mount them because I didn't like it when I saw them in person. check out the center pic on the attached thread, chrome mirror stem next to the stainless in natural light. the polished stainless matches the chrome better in my opinion. Call magnum and request samples of all their color options, they will send little scrap pieces that you can compare and make up your own mind. Either way make sure your order is correct, 25% restocking fee.

I forgot what I was going to say because of DrPlastic's avatar. Oh yeah, Magnum black pearl for me...didn't like the contrasts with the stainless or chromite look.

I have chromite on my 04 RK and they still look like new. Just ordered a set of 16" apes from Hill country custom and went with the stainless lines. The magnums was going to cost and extra 75 bucks. I still think the magnums are the best looking lines going. Plus they have a clear protective coating on them.
