Our Streetglide ROKKER shows real good at the shows, without the tail trunk in the way that is on the Ultras ,,,,

a cool 6 speaker system on an Ultra, using our new 500w J&M will be even more impressive ,,,

and it is hard to think of ANYTHING more impressive than J&M's ROKKER ,,,,

the new amp kit will come with a mounting bracket for you to use, so that you won't have to try and glue it down with Velcro ,,,,

I cannot think of any way to cram the J&M 7.25" speakers into the rear speaker pods on the Ultra ,,, but the J&M 5.25" upgrades for that position, do an outstanding job ,,,,,

Default New 6.5 HD Speaker box

John

My winter project has been delayed once again. I made it to IMS in Washington DC and will not make the IMS in NY. The youtube Rokker is impressive. In the Rokker Vid you retro fitted a Harley Speaker Box. If so will your kit for the 7.25 kit lower allow the use of the 6.5 speaker box from HD? If not will I have to buy new speaker box from JM to accommodate this setup? Thanks for always keeping in touch with MotorZ enthusiast.

GlacierPearl ,,,,,

that is a very good question ,,,,,, and one I need to think about for a few days ,,,,,,

we just need to build a replacement rear speaker pod for all 2006-2011 Ultras, that will hold all of the factory Harley passenger controls AND the J&M 7.25" speakers !??!,,,,,

sounds simple enough huh ? ,,,,, now I have even more work to do ! ,,,, will it never end ? LOL ,,,,,,

HCFXDC17 ,,,,,

the new J&M LOWERS speaker housing/kits will utilize the stock Harley LOWER fairing shells ,,,, you will simply unbolt the innards of the Harley units and bolt in the J&M inner shells with 7.25” speaker/grill/tweeters/mids etc ,,,,,,

John is it safe to assume you'll be set up to 'install' a complete set up on my 2009 Ultra at Sturgis this summer?

GP, perhaps you can edit your signature to mention that you have two automotive amps mounted in the tour pak and 6X9 (?) speakers in the saddlebags. I suggest that because it may make it easier for folks to decide whether what you have is worth investigating or not. For example, in my case, if I was interested in not using the tour pak or saddelbags for mounting audio equipment, I wouldn't bother to look further by clicking on your link if I saw in your signature that I: (1) needed a tour pak and would be giving up significant space in it for the amps; and, (2) would be mounting speakers in the saddlebags.

Just my suggestion.

Carl
