5'10" and I have a 10" Windvest. Does the job. Had a 8" KW when I bought the bike (08 Roadglide) and the wind noise was unbearable. Just my opinion.

My RG is my first fairing bike. I have the KW 12" on it and I like it. The wind pretty much goes to the top of my head and over, I'm 5" 10", 34" inseam. I've done day trips without any issues. Plan on making it to a rally this year, so we will see how it does for the long haul.

I had the 6" on mine for a while and it seemed like it directed more wind to my face than it would with no fairing at all. Looked good though. After trying many shields I ended up staying with the Clearview SM, supposed to be 2" shorter than stock. I'm 6'2" and it works well for me.

I've tried a couple different shields, said puck it and purchased a Shoei Multitec...No more wind issues.
