I'm trying to do it on the cheap to see if it's what i want or not.Just thought a set of lowering blocks would be EZ and still allow me to switch back to stock if need be. What are your thoughts on this? T.I.A.....Tim...............o~`o.............

I'm 5'8, so I needed to lower my 04 egc and did it with lowering blocks that just bolt on and give you a choice of 3 levels. All the way down was too low, shocks didn't perform well. Kept them in middle position for a long time until I had the forks done. Now I'm in the first stage below stock,(about 1 and a half), perfect! Nice center of gravity , bike handles excellent. Don't remember manufacteror. Punch in lowering kits for Harleys on E-Bay.

I would consider?? those lowering blocks that keep the geomitry the same if I could do it again.Tryed the ones on ebay as a temperaty fix and thats exactly what they were for me.Went with shocks from progressive that are stock size but have a sag, they sit lower in the travel...I have the ebay ones if u want.

Some people have had trouble with the blocks rubbing through the rubber cover on the shocks, plus the shocks could hit the bags.
This company does an outstanding job of lowering your stock shocks to whatever drop you want. I just had mine dropped 2" by them.

I have the Road6Custom ones on my bike. He is a forum member so I sent him few a PMs. My wife and I don't notice any difference. We aren't very big people and I run 38lbs in the shocks. I have them in the first hole because I just needed a little help to sit flat footed. Not sure what kind of clearance you have. I am sure someone with an 04 will chime in...or you probably already know.
