Default Luggage

Hammering the keyboard instead of the highways thanks to Mother Nature and planning my next season of long distance riding.

What is your favorite luggage and why?

Looks like T Bags make some nice stuff.

I have the big T bag, used on craigslist for cheap.

mounts on the seat behind me on my EG Classic, doubles as a backrest ( doesn't fit too well between the rear speakers on an Ultra).

Holds a crap load of stuff, and straps are flexible for many bikes, also has backpack straps, which could be good for carrying into hotel.

rain proof cover zips into it's own hole

reflective striping

Like it alot

also have the H-D SAC roll bag for my tour pak rack, fits sleeping bag, jacket and some maps, good and water proof, stays on the rack nice and secure.

I use a Saddleman bag. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room for stuff I buy when traveling. I have alway's left the top roll bag at home. $177.00 at Dennis Kirk.

I bought an Ultra Tour a few years ago and really like it. Well made, plenty of room and I like the ability to expand the 4 side pockets if a little more space is needed. I think I found it online for around $115 back then.

I agree Macker. The Ultra Tour has it all. It fits nicely on either a luggage rack or the passenger seat. Lots of room, holds it's shape and it's expandable. Opens from either side or the front. Nice top handle to carry right into your motel room.

Picked up a T-Bag Dakota several years ago at a rally for $150.00. Bought it to get the chit we bought at the rally home! Use it when we go on longer trips or rally's, works great for us!

DowCo Iron Rider...picked the full 5-piece set off CL 3-4 years back for $150. 3 of the 5 still had the tags and plastic wrappers on them. Plus the previous owner left $40 "spare" money in one of the pockets (found it a year later).

Since having this set Its been great. Taken road trips with friends and been able to split up the set between two bikes. Taken the wife and use the whole set on one bike for a long trip. Been in an accident and the bags didn't move one bit. Tons of different ways to strap them down so they fit almost any bike in any situation. They are 90% waterproof on their own (handle rain with no problem) but they come with quick and easy rain covers for riding though those downpours.

If you have a Tour Pak, TBag's Roller Dekker is a good deal now. Was $319, now on sale for $159. It's being discontinued (at least that what I was told at TBag)
