It sure as hell is going to make that first ride feel good. Some friends and I are planning a trip to Key west in April. That will make up for the lost time. Meanwhile I'll catch up on some reading....lol.
Sorry about your fall. You may want to look into a MRC clutch assist such as this:
You will lose alot of strength and mobility so do the physical therapy which usually is 6-8 weeks so you may be close on April ride, not trying to be a downer but wrist injury's take time to recover from.
Im in a cast for six weeks and can't reach the clutch. Gonna drive me crazy on those warm days we'll get from time to time.UPS routes and ice don't mix.
Bummer, at least it wasn't in the weeks leading up to Christmas when the mad rush was on.

Did ya get the "what are the 5 keys to preventing slips and falls?" speech from the boss? They give us cleats to strap on our shoes to get around when it's icy, couldn't get across the street last week without em on. Next week I may be using the snowchains again to get thru the hoods, as more snow may be coming tomorrow nite. Hope ya heal before the Key West trip in April..

back in the 80"s i rode with a cast on left hand ,swapped the clutch and brake cable(b4 hydrolic brakes) and had to clutch and throttle with right hand goofy at first but had it no time.
Sorry to hear about your wrist, What part of the Peach state do you drive in? Im a UPSER on the east side of Atlanta and I live on the south side. I still have ice on my driveway and cant get the bike out!!! I got a new Road Glide Ultra last weekend and Im wanting to ride it before it goes to my mechanic to get the goodies put on!!
I drive west central. Live south of Atl. I'd like to see your new ride. Congrats.

LOL. Had to answer two sets of safety &'s. Cleats would have been nice last week.
