Smile Road Glide Windshields

Hi gang,

I just got a new Road Glide Ultra and it's awsome. I switched out the windshield for a shorter Wind Splitter and I love it, but my wife says she gets too much wind in her face. Went back to the stock windshield and she's better, but I get more turbulance. Any suggestions for the best windshield to keep both rider and passenger comfortable on a Road Glide.

Thanks!

First thing - did you get the Road Glide Wind Deflector kit from H-D? It lists for $30, and really helped mine.

I've got a Klockwerks 16" flare windshield on my RG and it really reduced the turbulance for me.

I have a National Cycle V Stream, stock height, on mine. Works great, no buffeting.

Not sure John what can be done to help with the passenger wind situation...
A set of lowers may help deflect some of the wind around your wife.....

I'm having basically the same issues....I experience very minimal wind, yet
my wife gets plenty of wind setting behind me.
I have a 10" shield on mine.....

I think it all (or mostly) has to do with shape & design of the shark nose,
and distance we set behind it.....and the wind some-how goes around & over us
and slaps at the passenger setting behind us.

Then again I'm just a dirtdog / mudduck who rides a Shark Nose, and I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn since the 1980's
