Anyone Suffering from PMS (parked motorcycle sydrome) like I am??
I got my Hog this last summer and put 10,000 miles on it in just a couple of months! I bought a Street Glide and get made fun of by my friends all the time because I ride an "old mans" bike (im only 21) but I don't care because I wouldn't trade it for anything else! It is absolutley killing me walking out every morning going to school and watching it just sit there, starts me off in a depressed mood for the day!

Can't really fuss as much as you guys in the midwest (I'm in West By God Virginia), but I have kind of a unique situation. I live on a private road on the side of a mountain tht's generally accessible only by four wheel drive in the winter. Once I get down to the main roads they are dry and well maintained, but to get there I have to go through a mile long thrill ride of snow, ice, and general gunk and that's just to get down. Getting back up is a whole other adventure. I really want to get out and ride, but I don't want to dump it half way down or back up and be stuck.

I bought my '05 Road King on October 30th. Rode it for 3 days and brought it back to the dealer to store it for the winter. The bike had a very good Christmas. Can't wait to put all the toys on it. Here in NH we also have 4+ foot snow banks but I am counting down the days till I take it back out.

Waiting out the winter up here in Canada simply a fact of life, don't like but not much we can do about it. If my 'PMS' get too bad I pull the cover off the bike and indulge myself by sitting on her but that gets embarrassing if the wife walks into the garage. What is hard is near winter's end when it is warm enough out to go riding and the snow is gone but the roads are still covered with slippery sand and salt residue. That sand can be deadly in corners etc. Thats when patience and will power are needed the most.
