Hmmmm.....I've never heard of Frog Toggs. I'll definately look into them before deciding.
From what I'm hearing from ya'll on sizing, if I wear an XL jacket, then I'd go with the same XL rain jacket.
Cool.....I like things easy.

HD Road Warrior Functional Jacket & OverPants. They are great for cold weather also. Just need to layer up.

Cheap J&P Cycles rain suit. I rode out the August 3rd storm in Deadwood, South Dakota with that suit, and stayed bone dry. It didn't stop the hail from hurting though

I think you'll find frog toggs at cabelas or bass pro shop- they are very compact and lightweight...I think made out of paper or recycled shopping bags or something- Guys who have them love them it seems. and they are not expensive.

I have the harley set, XL fits over top of everything and the reflectives are really a plus. have the bootie things, NEVER used them!

Last summer touring, i had a couple of periods of misting and light rain...nothing heavy enough to even stop and get on the rain gear, leathers got a little damp, then dried out.

I now have one of the H-D switchback jackets nylon mesh with outer panels that zip in place for another layer, and a rain liner that snaps in.
with the little rain I have seen, it works. ( and overall probably the best jacket I have ever worn through hot, cold, dry, damp- and I find i do kinda like the armor)

I'll continue to carry the rain set in the saddlebags when I tour, makes good padding to keep the wrenches from rattling

i had a no name rain gear last year, it was black with reflective piping. well after two full days of rain on last summers road trip and seeing a lot of other bikers on the road, the riders that were most visible had the blaze orange rain suits. thats when i decided to replace my rain gear with the h-d hi visibility rain suit , and don't forget to get a set of rain gators to keep your feet dry

Men's Packable Rain Suit #98028-09VM also, worked well in mountain rain in Idaho, took up little space in saddlebag .
Thanks,
Rod
