I too ride solo 90% of the time and even though I love having the extra storage I am about to turn my bike into a solo touring machine. But I am leaving all the hardware on so I can add the passenger seat and tour pack anytime I want in about 5min time for the times when my son of wife wants to ride with me.

 

I ride solo 99% but can’t see going without the storage especially when you see others with their storage strapped on their back.

 

I always ride alone. My wife won't get on the bike. I like the extra storage on the Ultra. I take the bike on a long trip every summer.

 

im 50/50. the wife rides when she can and i love having her. ride solo other times. i love having the tourpak and wouldnt remove it if i could. i like the look myself...
