Installed a 9" smoked Windvest on my Tri-Glide yesterday. Took about 15 minutes and really improved the look of the bike. I also had a Windvest on my 93 FXLR. Great products and great customer service. Going for a test ride today as Doug advised that the 9" should perform like the stock windshield. If not and the shield needs to be higher, he'll exchange it at no additional charge.

I went with a HD replacement Light Smoke. (Never pick up the rag you just dropped and use it again when you are cleaning your shield). I'm 6' and with my upper torso height I it is right at the tip of my nose level. Been in a few cold rain showers up here in the great North and was glad i could scrunch down and get more protection.

Got the Wind Splitter with my Chrome cash and couldn't be happier as it does not look like a melted piece of plastic as many of the others. I ride with a full face 90% of the time and there is no buffeting for me (I am 6')
I do find myself riding with the half lid more now as this shield is much quieter than the previous street glide shield I had on the Ultra.
