Smile Part Number or actual description of part needed

I am new to this forum so hopefully this is the right spot to post this.

I have a 2004 Road King Police Special and the tip reset odometer piece is broken (the piece on the side of the console that you push in to reset the odometer.

I have looked in many places online and tried various descriptions but to no luck for what is the Harley Part number for this package to fix this.

Can anyone please help me here and where would be a good place online to get this part?

Thank you in advance...

PS - any pointers on installing this would be helpful.

Ronnies H-D has an online microfiche parts guide.

I can't post the link here so google it

click on the first hit, then look for the link to harley parts

then down that page to the diagram, click on that.

then select year, model ( just road king for you)

then scan down to "instrument assembly"

you'll see a diagram that shows your part....select the part

when you go to "check out" the H-D part number will be displayed, and you can then decide where to shop for the best price

I myself have great results online with Zanotti H-D.
Surdyke, chicago and others often offer discounts of about 20% off.

Usually I wait until I have a big list before using the online dealers. If I need right away I call around locally

In my '05 FLHPI Parts Manual it shows the switch with the note "Reset switch not sold separately is part of wire harness". Further back it shows the Main harness and it splits off by the speedo, fuel pump, ignition. Seems as though you should be able to find it somewhere. Can you find any manufacturer's markings on the switch itself?

That looks like the same Odometer Reset Switch used on all FL models from 1998.
The part number is 67854-98 with the boot cover number of 67880-94.

You might need to splice it into the wiring harness.
