Yep, that's what I use.
For a little more you can get round painted ones made from aluminum.

yep. then u tie a string to it-loop the string over your handle bars when parked so u can upright the bike and pull the puck up to stow it when ur ready ta ride

Use a shovel to dig a hole 18" x 18" x 9" deep. Place a rebar mat in the bottom and then fill the hole with 4000psi concrete. Let cure for the reqd 28 days and have a testing lab confirm the strength. When approved, then park the bike next to the concrete pad and rest the sidestand on the pad. I am certain this will hold up!

I also attach a string so I can ride to a spot that's not so soft park the bike and clean the puck off so I can put it in the bag; I the HD puck for my garage.
