67! I'm turning 57 in 2 weeks and plan on riding till it hurts. I hope that's a long way off.
I saw some guy in Ocean City that had to be at least 80 riding around on a full dresser.

As long as I can rock it off the kickstand and see where I'm going. Then there's that TriGlide!

im 46 and ride with my uncle he's 64
i do think you can get to old to drive a car or ride a bike
if you cant stay focus on whats in front of you,you need to
think about it !
then again there are 75 year old's that are better drivers then
20 year old's.
when you think the gas pedal is the brake pedal you need to give up
the keys !!!!

I am 71 years young and have been ridding motorized bicycles since i was 12. This September i rode a 1914 Indian twin From Kitty Hawk to Santa Monica Ca on the motorcycle cannonball. and placed 16 overall. I don't plan on stopping ridding any time soon. See you in Daytona.

I used to think about age a lot when I was thinking about starting to ride again after a forty year lay-off. That was four years ago when I was 64. Since then I have put in about 10,000 miles a year - including one trip from VT to Sturgis. You are smart to be concerned - just keep in mind your limits then ride the f*&-n wheels off!

Ride as long as you can safely. I think the ones giving you flack are jealous. I'm 56 & hope I am still able to ride when I get 70. Too much enjoyment of riding.

I vote for telling the folks that are giving you flack for getting "to old to ride", to STFU and worry about thier own asses. Then ride for as long as you want.

Hell, and I really, really mean this. I'd much rather die on my bike than rot away in front of my family from cancer or some other ****ed up thing. Lived through it way too many times in the past 10 years and it sucks the life out of all involved... Much rather have them remember me smiling and happy on the bike.

Peace out...

I have a club brother that will be 67 soon and he can outride most of us! He's just as young at heart as anyone and is talking about buying a Street Glide or Road Glide in the very near future. I think you should ride until YOU feel you can no longer do it safely...you'll know when it's time to let it go...

Just remember. It's not the age, it's the mileage. Some people are "old" at 40 and some are "young" at 80. Keep riding and tell who doesn't like it to f*ck off.

Are these people you are getting flack from Non-Riders?
I get flack from Non-Riders all the time.....and it has nothing to do with age. Ride that thing man.
