I had a Roadking....loved it. I ordered a Streetglide, but had to cancel it(divorce). My new bride and I bought an EG Standard and now it looks like a Ultra, our way.
My buddy bought a Roadglide and I drove it home for him. I love the look and ride of the RoadGlide. Bottom line....they are all nice. I am 43 and I love my Standard with tourpak, lowers, radio with minor bling and Stage 1 from Fuelmoto.
I think you need to list your ideal bike....radio? styling? type of riding? 2 up? add ons and additional wants for the scoot. You wont go wrong with any of those. Make a list of what you love about each, side by side. When my new bride and I went to look for a new "Ultra" in 2007, we didnt like the colors so we went with a Standard in FireRed Pearl and absolutely love it. I have done all of the service myself, along with the great support of this forum.
That orange color that you like is absolutely awesome too. Good luck....

+1! I am 6'2" about xxx pounds and am extremely comfortable on my Road Glide. I have sat on a lot of Street Glides and it feels a little claustraphobic, but still rideable. I have sat on a lot of Road Kings, and feel exposed without a fairing in front of me. Now, yes, you will have to try to set it up to fit you, i.e., windshield, floorboards, handlebars, etc., but that's all the fun to me! Good luck with your search!

yes the frames, drivetrains, and brakes are the same for all three.
some touring models are lower in the rear, so you are really looking at
windshield, vs batwing fairing vs sharknose fairing.
the latter two have stereos which is great.
abs and cruise are great options. ( and the ride can be Cadillac floaty)
the more time you spend shopping and test rides will make the decision plain.
for me, i like the bat wing fairing, it is close to the rider, I can tuck into when the weather is crap BUT wind buffeting translates into steering input on these bikes, the fairing is mounted to the forks
the sharknose slices the air better, fairing mounted to the frame makes for a stable ride, although a cross wind results in the whole bike leaning slightly ( I did a few hundred miles on one of these a few years ago)
the roadking is more stripped down with windshield easily removed----but I have other stripped down bikes, so RK does nothing for me.
go test ride, it'll be fun!
I did the H-D demo fleet a few months ago, rode a Ultra Limited 103, Road Glide Limited 103, Street Glide CVO 110 and an Ultra 96" in quick succesion.
I ended up buying a used 09 EG Classic 96" cruise, ABS
6"2" currently 205 but have been 190 to 260 over the last while.
Have or had 1995 EG Classic, 1988 FXR, 1953 FLF, 1953 FL, and a bunch of imports from Europe and Asia.
