I tried to install my T-Bags yesterday.
I had to notch out the two outside notches to make it fit.Once installed with the Memphis Shades windshield, looks like there is going to be gaps at the outside ends of the fairing.
I also have an HD chrome strip on the outside of the fairing.I will need to get longer 1/4-20 screws because of the chrome strip and the T-Bags mounting panel thickness.
Has anyone had the gaps after install?
UPDATE.........I took some shears to the mounting panel and removed about 3 1/2" from each end flush to the stiching. The bag actually fit better where the end pockets fit into the contour of the fairing.
No gap at the fairing.

I hate to say it but the Memphis Shades shield is the problem. Actual thickness of stock shield is 0.125 inch while the Memphis Shades shield is 0.186. This causes the front/rear of the faring to not line up so you are unable to get especially the center screw started. ALSO causes a gap between the front/rear of the faring allowing water to freely flow thru your faring from top to bottom. They should tell you that in the windshield specs BEFORE you bought it. Not only that but the top edge on my Memphis Shade shield looked like it had been sawed with a hacksaw. Simple fix is to buy a Clearview shield(correct thickness at 0.124 inch) and be done with it. Man was my Memphis Shades shield a HUGE disappointment!

I was thinking I could cut the outside panels back on the T-Bag so that the fairing could flex back at the ends when the screws are tightened. But would this cause the fairing to crack over time?

I don't know about that.. But what I do know is....although the MS shield is a great looking/working shield it is completely design flawed and the $120 bucks more I spent for a superior function/design Clearview shield with recurve wasn't a drop in the bucket on what I've got in my Street Glide.
