Default Best handlebars for better reach on RK?

I Need to get the bars closer to me on my new 2011 RK.... whats the best most comfortable solution? Heritage bars? 12" apes? reach bars?

Thanks for any advice.

I'm having the WO502 12.5" bars installed. The 502s seem to be one of the most popular bars especially for the Road King. They will be taller so you won't have to reach down like you have to with the stockers, and the controls will be closer to you allowing you some bend in the elbows.

I'm somewhat nervous about them being too tall for me, but everyone has assured me that these are some of the most comfortable bars out there.

Check out the link below to see some different Wild1 bars on Road Kings.

Wild One 518's or 508's if you like the old style beach bar look and feel. The white 07 has 508's and the black 08 the 518's. If I had to do over again they would both have 518's but not enough difference to change (to me anyway).

the 518s worked great for me. While changing them I compared the two and they are basically the same shape as stock just different dimensions. They had more pullback and more rise than the stock bars did but they made a big diff to me. Wild1 also has some of the best looking chrome I have ever seen.

I've got the WO 518's (not so wheel barrel-ish) and love them.T he 508's have more pullback, but the grip angle kinda sucks.

Another vote for the Wild 1 518's. Call Wild 1 and speak to a tech there...they can discuss pull-back options on all their products. Their quality is top-line.
