It's only on when I get on the major highways, otherwise its usually off.

Took it off at the dealer and have not put it back on yet. will use it for long highway trips.

Bought a cover bag to protect it from Dennis Kirk, should keep it clean while sitting in the garage.

Never ride with mine. Got a 12" tinted that i bought when i got the bike, but that hasn't made an appearance since the first few rides. also got the standard clear from the dealer. All they do is collect dust.

thinking about selling the standard clear. anyone interested? $150 + shipping.

That's why I loved my '99 RK, had the windshield, fairing or nothing.

I'd rather be riding comfortable @ 70-80 then lookin' "cool" with it sitting still.
Sure does look better with it off IMHO.

Just sayin'...

Most of the time, it is on. With half-helmet, I find the wind noise over 30mph too much annoying. Even with ear plugs.
