The shield only goes on for long rides/highway miles or any temps under 40F.

Probably use it 1% of the time - every time I put it on I regret it because I get buffeted too much.
A mate of mine uses his most the time and doesn't get buffeted but he's about 5" shorter than me.
Interested to ask (hopefully not hi-jacking the thread) whether, when using the screen, do you look over it or through it?

Use it only on long highway trips, it comes just above my nose and right below my eyes so I can look through it or over it..

Rarely, if ever use mine. I've got a tall clear and a short tint. fxdx, you are supposed to look over it, not thru it.

I rarely ride with my windshield. Love the look without.

Off rarely, like the look but almost always on. But there is no "in town" for us unless we spend some highway time getting there.

I keep mine on all the time...keeps the wind & bugs from blasting me in the face.

same here...seems every time I pop it off for a quick ride I end up going and going and miss it.

I don't have a windshield, so that saves me trying to figure out whether to take it off or leave it on. I've never had one, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing. I may end up buying one eventually for riding in cooler weather and long trips, but I have a lot of other things I'll spend the $300 on first!
