Inner Fairing Paint Cost?

Painted my inner 2-tone Dark Blue Pearl and Gloss Black. Went to try and have color matched and a pint was going to be 114.00, decided to buy a quart at the Dealer for 116.00. Well worth the extra 2 bucks in case I need it. Had the fairing painted at a local Car dealership for 125.00. Project turned out great.

With the HD painted inner fairing, I know it's going to match, and I could knock the project out in one day, rather than wait for a painter.
Can anyone see any disadvantages?

I can get a HD factory painted inner fairing for ~$450, including shipping (using LSHD 20% discount).
Considering it cost ~$150 for materials and ~$250 labor, doesn't this seem like the most sensible alternative? If the cost of having a local shop do it is $400, then sure, buy the HD inner. However, most find excellent results in the $150 to $250 range. Also, if you buy the HD, you can sell your take-off inner for $100 or so reducing the net cost of the HD product.
With the HD painted inner fairing, I know it's going to match, and I could knock the project out in one day, rather than wait for a painter. If downtime is an issue, some buy a take-off inner for the painter to paint then swap out the painted inner for the OEM one on the bike.
Can anyone see any disadvantages? My pet peeve with the HD inner is that the small plastic bezel around the turn signal/idiot light indicators is unpainted. So, you get the painted inner fairing and fairing cap, then have to use the unpainted black plastic bezel. HD sells a lot of the small chrome accessory cover to hide the unpainted black plastic.

scaredofrain, I hadn't checked this thread in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see a picture of my bike; and, yes, it is beautiful and a pleasure to see every time I ride--thanks for the props.
