Congrats on a great looking bike and Welcome from Michigan.
I to had Yamaha's before I got my first Harley, I just got my 4th one a 11 RK. After you fall in to the Harley thing there is no other. This last time I did try hard to get in to Polaris bikes, but when I drive them it just felt like I was back on a Yamaha. No other bike has the feel of a Harley. Don't make any deference if it's a Sportster a Dyna a Softail or a Touring bike, every one of them is a Harley, For a lot of us there is no other...Good luck and ride safe.
