Default Left side muffler shakes a lot

I've been told by guys behind me that the left muffler shakes quite a bit while riding. I can see it at idle and when I rev it, the left bag seems o move more than it should to. I've checked the muffler clamp, and clamp by the trans also the bag support hardware and all is tight.. What else holds it in the back? Has anyone had this problem before?

It's not uncommon for the left side to shake a little more than the right. I've never seen one show it noticeably above idle though. All you can really do is start at the front of the pipe and work your way to the rear and make sure everything is snug, including the support under the rear fender. if all is tight just ride it. Sometimes these bikes have a mind of their own.

You might check the saddle bag bracket.
If you get a header, you wouldn't have a problem with the left pipe. (just a thought)

My '06 Road Glide started to have an annoying squeek. The problem was the left muffler rubber bushing.
To stop the squeek,I crimped the metal bushing bracket to make it a tighter fit. This also reduced the shaking a little.

One day I noticed my left muffler was dragging on the ground. I had some zip ties available so I was able to tie it up to get home. I took the bag off and this is what I found. I had it mig welded but it broke again. I had it mig welded again with a backing plate and it has held since.

I've heard of other people having this same problem.

If you still have the stock pipes, check the bracket that comes off the front starter bolt. I noticed mine was broken in half when I changed the pipes.

I'd also look at the front motor mount. It may be the rubber broke.
