Looking at your picture I see why mine shakes, I don't have that bracket from the rear fender to the support. It must have been removed at some point before I got the bike.. Thanks!!!

I've heard of other people having this same problem.

If you had pipes put on you may want to check the studs at the head. I know it gets a little tight on space and they may not have tightened them as much as the front. This would make the whole pipe shake.

like most guys have said, a Harley thing....

The bracket coming from the fender is part of the FBI rear tire kit. That isn't on the stock fender, just the verticle bracket.

Ok, I am going to make one that connects both sides to the fender. That should firm that pipe up.

There is a HD part fender support for the street glide that will probably work I took my bumper off and that is what I replaced it with.

Default Fender Bracket

P/N 91140-04 is the one that's used on the RG's, SG's and Kings w/o the rear bumper. It ties the 2 sides together. Also check the backside (inside) of your fender, there should be a stud there where the bracket will attach.

Thanks guys!! I don't have the stud anymore on the backside of the fender, I shaved it when I was making the holes and prepping for paint... I'll figure something out.
