Backwards front rotor?

Backwards front rotor?
I'm putting an 18" '11 streetglide front wheel and tire on my 07 FLHT. All Is well. Bought a $85 flush mount 08-up axle and it fits.
The question I have is the rotors. I was pulling the rotors off my 07 wheel and taking note of the direction on them versus the direction of the tire. The right side marked rotor is on the left. . This is a 100% stock harley. The bolts have never been cracked.
It's not like it's a big deal but here is what I'm thinking. I'd put them on the correct side but what about brake pad wear. The pads have worn the rotor a particular direction. Flipping the rotor around will sure have an edge IMO>
I don't know...what say you guys?
maybe the rotors are supposed to be backwards. The direction of the vanes goes with what is marked on the rotors.

Oh and talk about something tough, getting that flush mount axle nut to seat...wow is that tight. I'm using a 1/2" ratchet and it took some serious force to get that to pull into the right for leg. It's nearly flush, sheet of paper away but i'm afraid it's going to snap. Naturally, it the bolt goes in and out easily it's just pulling it in the axle that's a bear. I tried persuading it with a hammer and tape but all that did was put a mark on it....Oops. I can polish that out.

There was a factory recall. Seems a bunch of rotors got marked backwards. If I remember right, the round bulge on the rotor slots is supposed to be the leading edge. Check the FSM (I'm at work and can't) but mine has an explanation of how to mount them and identify the correct position and rotation.
