tire balancing

Another highly rated product is called Ride On, which is both a tire balancer and sealer. I've used it on my last two sets of tires.

I have Dyna Beads with weights on my current tire, Pirelli Night Dragon, It is the smoothest my bike has rolled in 55000 miles. Will put them in my next tire. I think i may try the beads from a company called Fox industries....a lot cheaper than innovative. The beads are a bit bigger but same results is what i hear.

Check the Dynabeads website for the proper amount of weight. It is all layed out there. I believe it says if you have up to a 120mm tire 1oz after that 2 oz for front tires. I think that is what I read for the 130 I am running up front. And 2 oz for rear tires. I have not put the beads in yet, but I did not have them balance the new tires that I just got. We'll give it all a try.

I just had my tires mounted to new rims. My rear tire has 3.5 oz of weights attached, dyna bead recommends 2 oz in a 180 tire.
I am guessing that I need to put at least 3.5 oz of dyna beads in the tire for it to balance properly.
Has anybody else had to add more than the recommended 2 oz?
