Thumbs up For the DIY Men - Paint & Powdercoat - cool site

I have posted this site before. They have some cool paints and equipment. Check out the new Lume paint used in the Movie TRON. Check out their Powdachrome. $200.00 for the gun. For those small parts it certainly beats plating.

Very Cool, It looks good in the before and after pics but I wonder how it holds up to a pro doing it? My guy does awesome powder coating work but it takes forever! I sure would like to try something like this.
Great link, thanks.

Cool website, I wonder how durable the water transfer printing is? That would look cool to put the carbon fiber pattern on the inner fairing and dash.

You can make your inner faring look like carbon fiber pretty easy, start with a gray silver metallic then use that rubberized tool box drawer liner with the square pattern in it, lay it over the faring, and paint it at a distance of about 12" and fog it over the mesh while pushing the liner down against the surface.
I have done a bunch of RC car bodies it looks pretty good.
