In 1971 I got a Bonanza mini bike .Soon pulled the goverener .Wore through many of my dad,s miltary boot,s trying to stop.AT age 12 got a honda 90 step through the speedo read 60 mph.Soon after only moment,s i found a cliff to smash up my upper face including teeth..Well iv,e been torn up more on the dirt then the street..Great training ground for the real world..Imho if one has a jack pot, Get back on the horse lesson learned..Yet at age 51 still ride the way it should be ..Brisk..

My uncle had an old Vespa scooter that was my first foray into motorized two-wheeling. I was probably ten or eleven at the time and my brother and cousins rode the hell out of that thing. Started in the backyard and ventured out into adjacent fields and abandoned rail right of ways. I'd love to have a dollar for everytime we crashed that sucker. Lots of fun and sure taught me riding skills at an early age.

Uncle built me a mini-bike when I was around 8, even had apes on it, ran up and down the bean field rows and it would outrun my friends mopeds, Kawasaki 100 when I was 14, went "coast to coast" on it but never left our farm, then a LOONG, but worth the while wait.. 76 FX Super Glide at 26.. added 05 EG in 07. Hope to someday do the coast to coast ride for real
