I've never seen the point in those boot strap things. I don't know anyone who wears them.

I tried Boot Straps once but found they restricted my flip-flops from flopping, they just flipped when I walked.

I always thought that 'boot straps' were for pulling on your boots also. Guess I'm an old fart (66).
My 'riding boots' are White's 12" Smoke Jumpers...they have a loop on the back to pull them on.
I wear Wrangler 13 MWZ's that are a couple of inches too long when riding.
I'm a 'fat guy' (46/30) also, so finding extra long pant legs isn't a problem!!
Have never had a problem with pant legs blowing up my leg.

Same problem here. I think they assume if you're large you're shaped like a bowling ball or something. I just end up buying Levis online since I can't find 34 or 36 inseams in any store for a 40" waist.

Never heard of them before today and I'm not likely to wear them.

Don't wear them. As a matter of fact I find it rather refreshing to catch a little air and shoot it up my pant leg. It cools the boys off.

I wear them now, but I believe it has to do with the location of your highway pegs. I didn't wear them before but now that I raised my pegs a little on the crash bar it seems the angle is just right to blow my pants legs to the tops of my boots. Another reason to consider them...a buddy of mine had a bee go up his pants leg last year, almost wrecked trying to pull over and get his pants off! Pretty funny now that it's over but at the time it wasn't.
