Hell yeah I wear boot straps. As long as I can remember and been riding for 30 years. Before the "canned" store available versions I used to make my own out of suspenders now I just buy the canned version. Always have ridden with forward controls and hate the pant leg ride up. Now I have a 2013 Street Glide with floorboards and tried without the straps for a couple rides. Bad idea still a bit of pant riding, so back to my beloved boot straps

Nope, When it is real cold I use a strip of rawhide to tie the bottoms of my chaps closed to keep cold air out.

Never seen or heard of anyone needing them. I just wear regular denim jeans and lace up boots. Never had any problems with pant legs doing this at all, even with feet up on the highway pegs. Maybe if you're wearing a loose-fitting, light fabric type of pants, but I dont wear anything but jeans.

I wear my Wranglers 2 - 4 inches longer than my dress pants. Works on horseback and on the bike. In Texas it is called "stacking" your jeans. They don't blow up on the bike or pull up over my boots on horseback.
