My main question is does the kit offer the ability to significantly improve the ride over the stock SG shocks when in the up position and am I correct that there are only two positions-slammed and up? That would say there isn't a way for the bike to be adjusted to the exact stance say a SG has today, right?

I have the Draggin Bagger system on my 03 Road King, I am 5'3" and could not touch without it. I rode about 75 miles on an 06 Street Glide last week and it was very comfortable. You can adjust the ride as you encounter rough roads or rail road tracks. You can ride it with any amount of air that you find comfortable. I ride with no air through town so I can be flat footed at a stop lights, I just air up when I am going any distance.
