Default Braided lines

Im about to do the +2 sweeper/chrome control install and at the last minute Im thinking about upgrading to a braided clutch cable and upper brake hose.

I had intended on useing the oem brake hose and I bought the +2 clutch cable, but Ive spent so much on chrome I may as well do those items as well.

I only want to do the upper brake hose for now, I will do the others if I ever go to chrome calipers. The +2 clutch cable is all I need as well.

Anyone have p/n's and a source?

I would like to spend as little as possible to do this, xmas is still hurting the wallet.

I beleive you stock front brake line is a one peice unit. you can't replace the upper with out getting the complete modular assembly. Once you install the modular brake system you can change the top line at will.

Yep I just took a look, all pressed fittings. I guess I will just have to wait on that. Im already trying to figure out how to explain the boxes that will be showing up the next few days, I know when to stop and its time to stop.

That the reason I have everything sent to my work. Someone always there to accept it and I don't have to explane anything!!!!

braided brake lines- make sure they are dot certified

braided oil/fuel lines, make sure they are resistant to petroleum products and ethanol...and not just "novelty cosmetic" lines.

I have seen the wrong lines used and expensive problems result.

I'm on step 1. Admitted I was a chrome-aholic and my wife has become unmanageable.

Used their BYO brake line kits and clutch cables on last three handelbar installs I've done. Good products. Got them thru Dr V-Twin at a good price as well.
