It rained for a while the night before, so there wasn't really any salt out where I am. I rode about 30 miles and the bike was pretty clean when I got back. Cold again today. At least we have the bike show in town next weekend.

It was in the mid 40s here in northern Vermont yesterday. If there wasnt a pile of slush and snow between my garage and the street I would have been out yesterday too. So close and yet so far!

Back down to our usual 20s for this time of year starting Monday.

Upper 20's to mid 30's here. They put down a brine solution on the roads to help keep the ice knocked down. We don't get a whole lot of snow and ice in western Wa, so there's almost always some opportunities to ride during winter months. Right now, my driveway and the stub road I live on is the only roads that aren't mostly bare. Had to put down a little rock salt and a lot of cat litter in my driveway just so I don't lose my footing backing out of the garage. Still gotta watch for black ice on the main roads, too.

I'll definitely take getting a little cold as a trade-off for getting the wheels turning, even just for a short ride. The motors sure like the cold air, feels like an extra 5 hp.
