Default 07 Ultra finally stripped and off to painter ~pics~

Post #25 ~ Sneak Peak ~ I got a Front Left Lower Fairing and took a couple Pic's of the Burnt Orange Custom Color, there will be a two tone silver bottom through out the bike also.

Finally got the bike tins stripped and off to the painter...My painter is a local guy, I have seen his work but not on bikes even though he has done many. I took a couple pics of the bike stripped for your entertainment.

The Fairing was not taking off yet because I had to buy new inner and outer fairing...so that was left in tacked so I have less clutter, and as you can see in the fore and aft-ground I don't need any more clutter.

I will meet with the painter when every thing is prepped to make final decision on paint color...then I will meet again with him for graphics if there will be any at all. We are expecting a months project with his work.

I got a new front fender with no rivet for cleaner look, I also bought the rear fender flair kit used on the street glides I will be using the original rear fender so modifications to the tip of the fender where the tail light mounted was done.

Here is the original thread if you weren't around to here what had happened https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-the-ride.html

Great pictures, are you going to strip it down to the frame and paint the frame?

I like that ~ "What did we".

well I am...I mean WE are still leaning to a burnt orange with off white or silver (the rite silver) with a retro/nostalgic look. I hope we are happy with that.

The expectations from these HDForum members is just to much to bear...OoHh serenity now. LOL

Did you see J. Roberts fender Sarge?

I agree....perhaps a nice fluorescent green on the frame to make it stand out?

As beautiful it may sound, and as beautiful yours is. My Harley/Harley's are more a utility vehical...you know like a truck...well taken care of, however it went and goes places most would say that I am out of my mind. And I guess that is why I love this "Ole Steed". I guess one could say my guts and glory is found somewhere on the beaten path and not in a frame.
