confirming no abs add on.
The ABS is F'ing fantastic, and I doubt I would buy another bike ( non-antique) with out it.
If you have not experienced, the abs does things we cannot do and greatly increases safety margin.
On the day that ***** turns left in front of me, I hope to be able to concentrate on picking a path to steer, while the abs does the traction control.
the abs alone would be enough to cause me to pass on an otherwise good deal ( which i did this last go-around of bike shopping, I bought the one with abs)
the H-D cruise is also pretty dandy for comfort while touring.

i second thunderbuellers thoughts. i like being in control of the brakes rather than something like abs. the cruise is easy and i find it essential. if you find the need for the abs, then you're already riding above the road conditions, that's my thought on it, and i've had a bmw with abs, thanks anyway, i don't want anything to do with it. they now have the option of an air bag on the goldwings, go figure.....
