Cams - fuel Mgmt. for TC96
Hello, I have a 2010 RK with Fat Cat, AN Big Sucker, and a Fuel Pak. If I put cams in this bike such as a SE 255 or something else (I hear good things about the Cycle Rama 575) will the fuel manaement have to be changed? I have heard that the Fuel Pak will not work well with aftermarket cams. I sent an email to V&H and did not get a response. Any info is appreciated.

Get the TTS Mastertune or SE Super Tuner. You won't be sorry and the results will be pretty dramatic from a relatively stock bike. I went with Andrews 37H cams, PM SUper Gas A/C and Rinehart slip ons. After some tuning I was able to eek out 65HP/95 Torque, pretty good improvement from OEM IMO!

When I put the 255's in my 96" I also had the Fuel Pack. I too tried contacting V&H and got no response. Ended up ordering a PC-V w/auto tune from Fuel Moto and had them base map it. That set up ran so good I never did have it dyno tuned! In fact, that set up ran so good, my wrench thought I was crazy to do my 103", Andrews 54H & Big Boyz heads build!

Yes it will but, you may have to hook your computer up to the PC-V & do some "tweeking" to the base map. My "base" map was not perfect and the bike stumbled off idle till about 3000 rpm. Within a couple hundred miles the auto tune worked all that out. I'm not very computer literate and didn't want to mess around with all that. Jamie & Keith at Fuel Moto were very willing to help & told me to give them a call and they would walk me through any problems I had! Luckily, I never needed to!
