Default Powder Coating Inner Fairing

Instead of painting can the inner fairing be powder coated?

No. PC works by electrical charging the peice you want to PC (negitive and positive charge) unless there is some new deal I have not heard about plastic will not conduct electricity.

I'm not a expert, but I think you have to bake the powder coated item at 400* and the inner fairing would distort.

Yes, plastic can be powder coated but not in the traditional methods.

Wonder what the "Chrome" effect is that is used for plastic model parts? You know, when you built that '32 coupe as a kid and it had a Chrome grill you sprayed Flat Black to go with the Rat Rod look.....

Wonder if that is some kinda powder coating??? Or is it just a dip of some kind?

Flakes off anyways, so I wouldn't want it on my inner fairing....
