Default Radio Display 2006 Road Glide

I woke up the other morning, started my 2006 Road Glide up and there is no display on the radio. The radio works fine, loud and clear, all the controls work, just no display. Why? Can anyone help.

Yep, mine did that this summer. It needs a new display. Contact Iron Cross radio. If I remember it is a flat fee of about $250.00 to do repairs and updates. Great people to do business with.

mine did that on a 2007 RG i had. i would first check the contrast settings before you take it out. then if it is not the contrast, i would suggest Iron Cross. 250 and they will fix you right up. quick turnaround as well

my 2006 unit did the same thing, I think it may have been water related but not sure. I opted to replace it with a Kenwood unit instead of getting the stock unit repaired by iron Cross.

Same here, somehow I fat fingered the disply contrast, Don't know if it's your problem or not but, would be an easy fix. Shows how to adjust in your owners manual.
Hope this helps Jonnierock
