If only the American flag is mounted,it goes in the center,if 2 are flown,American flag goes on the right. If 3,the American flag is center, slightly higher than the others.

US Flag And One Other Flag Of Any Type:

If the US Flag is on your bike with another, it should be to its "marching right" - on the right side of the motorcycle to the rider's perspective. If the other flag is that of another nation, it should be the same size and at the same height of the US Flag - NO flag should ever be displayed higher than the US Flag.
This is a great answer, you are 100% correct and thanks for your service

OP.....You are correct........American flag will be on the right side.
+1...was told that by another PGR member at my first mission (I had mine "wrong" and promptly made it "right") Have read/heard it since as well.

Honestly...I DO agree with being respectful & try my best to do just that... but don't really feel having the flag on the right or left or middle or the same height is a major faux pas as the overwhelming majority of people (Americans and non) have no clue themselves.

When I see someone getting it "wrong", I don't consider it dis-respect, but rather more of an issue of ignorance. Just flying the American flag is awesome, and anytime I see it, I love it (unless it's upside down or something clearly dis-respectful).

My flag source is SSP Flags, LLC. Their website is http://www.bikerflags.com/.

I've purchased US, POW, Texas, Army, and a few other flags from these folks, run them for a few hundred miles at highway speeds, and have not had one even begin to fray.

They're a bit pricey at about $50 each but you do get what you pay for.

HTH.

Now remember, I haven't used these yet, so hopefully, they'll do what they're supposed to, but the name of the company is:

PAD PAD, INC. / CHROME CORNER

www.thepropad.com

Mooresville, NC 28117

1-800-403-2714

My wife actually ordered through our local HD Dealer, and when she did,
she had to order two American Flag Kits with poles and one replacement
POW/MIA FLAG, without the pole. So you have to swap one of the American Flags for the POW/MIA, but that gives you a replacement for your American Flag when that, I'm sure, eventually starts to show some wear.

Flying the American flag upside down is a legal recognized distress signal. So don't ride on by (in your ignorance ) thinking it's automatically someone being disrespectful.
