Default Why no SE Big Bore kits for 110"s?

Just wondering why HD doesn't have a SE Big Bore kit for the current 110s? There's 96", 103", and up to 110"s. With the 120" out now, do you think there will be a kit to bring 110 up to 120 or close?

I read that once the cases have been bored for 110 you can't go to a 120 with them. You'd need to start with new cases.

the 96" cases when bored for the 110" doesn't leave any more room for expansion with bore. they're bored out as far as you can, safely.

The 120 is the same bore as the 113 & uses base gaskets instead of o rings, the 120 has a 4 5/8 stroke crank compared to 4 3/8 in the 96 & 103s.

The crank will fit but you would need special pistons, as I said earlier the 113 & 120 cylinders use base gaskets instead of O rings, once the cases are setup with O rings they can't be bored out big enough for the 4.060 pistons & jugs. You could have someone make custom pistons that are 4" bore with the correct pin spacing for the 4 5/8 crank, pin would have to be 1/8" higher in the piston.

The JIMs 116 kit uses a 4 5/8 crank with a 4" bore.
