Boots, boots, and more boots. Need the grip, the support, and hopefully never needed, the protection needed from skids. Plus, it's easier to put the proverbial BOOT in someone’s A** with an actual BOOT !!! Currently wear Timberline PRO series boots…

 

Mil Spec Steel toes. Had a buddy got his right foot crushed by a cager this summer. Swiped his non steel toed boots with the left front tire/rim while making a u turn in front of him from the right lane. (didnt see the bike.... go figure)
Also gloves, helmet, long pants, long sleeve shirt (brightly colored - be seen) and some good shades. I ride everyday. I call it the NASCAR raceway since almost everyone has a number in their back window and its evident they are drafting. Been run off the road once this summer and a few close calls. Damn motorcycle riding is a rush just to stay alive. Gotta dress for success.

Always Boots. Just don't feel safe with out them. HD slip-ons, I'm on my second pair of soles in the past five years.

 

I wear either my work boots,if I'n riding to work,or my Firefighter boots,given to me by my brother.I feel weird if I'm just moving my bike in the garage,and I'm wearin sneaks.

Only have 1 pair though.
Does HD have a boot in 14 or 15? My choices are limited and if
I do find a 14 that fits they area EEE width which is way wide for me.
