Default Toll transponder mounted inside batwing?

If I mount my toll transponder inside the batwing will it work ok? Any issue with radio or gauges?

As far as the transponder being read at the toll booth, I don't think you'll have any problems. Mine is read when it's in the lid organizer in my side bag. Likewise with any gauge interference, you shouldn't have a problem there either.

some guys mount them inside the fairing lower glove box- i think saddlebag is best- in case you need to get at it.

story;

my Pal kept his in his riding jacket pocket.

one day late in the season he threw his jacket in the back of his SUV.

You guessed it, he got double billed all winter.

He tried to get some kind of refund from ezpass- they weren't having it.

It will absolutely work. I have mine mounted about 3-4" down from the top edge of the fairing at the windshield and directly over the radio. In my pic it is located directly under the eagle.

Mine is stuck to the inside of my tour pac lid between the bolts for the passenger backrest and it works fine.

I've had mine there since I got it. Not a problem at all.
