Ha, no problem here, if anything I have to reign my wife in, she wanted the CVO for our 10th anniversary, not the base Ultra Classic, and tries to talk me into buying everything for the bike... she loves the Harley and is all about everything for it!

 

Same here, those and her own sporty put me in the "buy what you want" category....

 

You kidding?? I don't beg for nothing (yea I know its a double negative). If I could't afford it I wouldn't buy it. Sure the wife gets a little hot over some of the bling I buy, but she gets over it.

 

Yep-- works for me too. I don't use the "safety issue" for everything and admit my wife is pretty good about me buying stuff.

She's pretty good at spending as well!

Never had much trouble out of the wife.She loves to ride,but ever since I've been
talking about getting an amp she keeps saying no every time I bring it up. Guess
I'll just have to buy it & see if she notices.If she does she'll get over it.Been together
over 33 years not gonna start asking permission now.

 

My hubby calls them 'safety speed' parts. That's so when your driving on the hwy and need a boost of power to pass or get outta the way of other precarious traffic, you've got the boom to zoom...and out of harms way.

 

I tell mine what I have done to it lately.......that is most of the time I do. If I happen to think about. She doesn't really know what or why I do what I do and for that matter don't care. I spend my money how and where I want, no questions asked or answered. She has made a few suggestions for stuff to put on it, but then I decide if I want to do it or not. It is my hobby, I just let her tag along sometimes.

 

I tell my wife if I'm spending more than $300.
