Did you possibly mistake in. lbs torque spec, for ft. lbs.? If so, you wouldn't be the first.

I just snugged every thing down torqued to sheet specks (20-25 in lbs) and came in to eat dinner and when I went back out I saw it,

Man sorry to see that. I was thinking of putting those hinges on my ride, may reconsider at this point.
Another thought, you might check with a boat repair place to see how much a repair would cost and paint vice buying a new lid. Just a thought as the boat guys are good with fiber glass and plastic on those boats.

I'm really sorry to have just now read this. I sold a brand new tourpac lid just 2 days ago, took it to UPS to ship yesterday.

Tourpac Lid on eBay

Had my lid repaired at a body shop that works with 'glass. He matched it perfectly, can't tell it was repaired. Cost me 75.00
