Default Mystery Seat?

Hi All,

Does anybody think they know what make/model seat is pictured on this 2003 FLHR? The pics are from the Samson Exhaust site. It's not a Le Pera that I could find anywhere and I'm pretty sure I can rule out any of the HD Sidekicks, Badlanders. I'm trying to find this seat for my bike. Anybody that might be able to help identify this seat will be my new best friend. Thanks

I spoke to a sales rep and a tech at Samson and neither of them know, but the rep said he would ask around and shoot me an email. I went to my local dealer to check out some seats and determined it insn't anything from Harley, although is is very close to the Sidekick and Badlander. They also had a Le Pera Silhouette and it doesn't have the same stitch pattern lines, so it that wasn't it. Not sure if finding this particular seat will be worth all of this research, and it may not even be very comfortable, but it sure does look nice (in my opinion).

Thanks for your input and I may just get the Le Pera Silhouette. That's a sweet seat.

Nick@Nite,

Your seat looks nice. What kind of seat is it? I'm trying to convert to the low and lean stretched look on my FLHR. The stock seats don't help that goal, plus it's a little too tall and wide for me. Need a seat that puts me a little closer to the ground and puts a slight bend in the knees. Thanks.

my seat is a Saddleman but to be truthfull its not very comfortable. It does put you lower to the ground.

My next seat is a Danny Gray or Mustang ..................

I had a Le Pera Silhouette on my Fat Boy. It was nice and low, but painful for long rides. I notice that LePera offers gel in their seats now, maybe that would make a difference in comfort. Just beware, if you go for a look, you may sacrifice comfort.
