Gracias gunrunner! You nailed it. I just started my long & low conversion today with new bezels for the front lights and clear lenses all around to replace the amber. I've had a few others warn me of the same sacrifice of comfort if I go with this type of seat, but I'm on of these that always learns the hard way (and usually the expensive way). I have an account with Biker's Choice and can get the Le Pera Silhouette @ wholesale, so may give that a shot. I was playing with the "biker gel" Silhouette at the HD dealership today and think it may make a diference..
