Default 2nd bike is a sportbike

Just curious to see if the guys with a sportbike think its worth having one. I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my road glide or get a 3-5 year old 1000cc sportbike. Just looking for a little insight I've never owned more than one bike at a time.

My "other" bike is a KLR. I had a ninja in 1986, that's the last time I had to lay down on a fuel tank to ride and that's OK with me.

I have had sport bikes and they are great but generally don't get used. Like the above poster I have a KLR650 09 previously an 02 and ride the heck out of them. No replacement for my Harley but sure is a fun second bike. Cheap too. I bought the 09 for 4700 new otd.

It's all relative bro. If you're into it then go for it. Do you think you'll ride it much, after the first month or 2? If you just want to say you have 2 bikes then I'd upgrade the RG. Just remeber most people would love to have a "hard decision" like that to make! lol

It's about the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on.

Bought, built, and sold sportbikes before buying the Harley. Last bike was a 2006 Limited Edition Hayabusa that was tuned and built. After buying the HD, I never rode the Busa again. It sat for five months before I sold it. No use.

When I can afford a second bike, I'd like to have a Buell Ulysses or something similar. I'm not real interested in laying down on the gas tank, but I would like a sport/tour type bike that I can cut up on a bit and don't mind leaving the pavement as much.

Here are a few pictures of one of my street bikes, its a GSXR 1000's that I built a few years ago. It has a Garrett Turbo with 6 lbs of boost and made 260 Hp on pump fuel. This bike was featured in Cycle World magazine

Awesome Gixxer Jamie and I would love to have a Ducati. I was just thinking of being able to disappear for a couple hours now and then to cut loose. Guess I would never make it as a dealer because all of the bikes would be used
