Question about the sundowner. Is it lower and narrower in the nose than the stock seat? I've got a reach seat on an 07 Ultra. I like it being lower and narrower than stock but don't need the more forward position.

I have the Sadelman Roadsofa on my 05 ultra, 3rd bike I've had with the roadsofa, they are a little firmer than stock and have a split seat so the back of your butt drops without creating a presser point which is great for long rides

How is the padding on the sundowner? I have had both hips replaced, and don't have any padding in the butt. I sit directly on the sit bones. Have a comfort on the 05 Road King and stitching is coming undone, and looking into options.

I have the Sundowner on my RKC, and a H-D Touring (very Sundowner-like) on my Wide...both are awesome for comfort, 1 or 2-up.

Got the Sundowner and a BIG thumbs up

Rode 350 miles home the day I got the bike (Sundowner already fitted) and if that seat was going to show up any faults it would have been then!

Call Chuck at C&C and ask.

Looks like I'm the only one to respond so far that didn't like the sundowner, but here goes... I had one, but it pushed me fwd, and I hate the feeling of getting shoved fwd like I'm siitting on the tank and my knees are bent too much. I'm not really tall. I'm almost 5'11" with a 32" inseam. I ended up with a H-D tallboy for when I ride two-up and a C&C fastback customized/modified by C&C to let me sit 1.5 further inches back than the seat would "normally" come. Either of my seats paired up with my 12.5 bagger apes from Wild1, and I'm comfy and relaxed. I hope this helps.
