Do it but do everything you can in there to make it worth it. I did my bars at the same time. I can do my guages on my own so that wasn't a big deal

Also, inner fairings are on ebay for $150. But the ones that sell are always $100 shipped. I bought my inner and cap first and then my bars and while I was waiting on my bars to come in, I had the inner painted. And I was still able to sell the inner for $100 shipped in the same packaging that I got from the other one.

Having mine painted this week. It will change the entire looks of the ride. also going to put in HOG Tune speakers while the fairing is off. Gof for it!!

Wondered the same thing as you gents on this one. Wasn't as concerned about the glare, but was thinking about gloss black just for the look. Although, you can never have too much red hot sunglo...

Take your paint code to any PPG automotive paint dealer and have them mix you a pint.
So the paint code is in the VIN like an auto? I have the black and silver 10 Ultra.

Mine going in next week for inner fairing, hogtunes tweeter pod, and the mirrors all getting color matched Red Hot Sunglo.

Agreed, which is why I also did the rear AUX port mod on the HK headset - also a great mod
