I have run Progressives 940's and Ricor's 12" shock, both far superior to stock ride, 1" lower also

Hey Mike I paid $125 with shipping on those shocks, not too bad?

FWIW i put the 940's on my SG and they are well worth the money... i would call them a "sporty" ride.

I put the Progressive 440's on 1" lower. No problem at all.

I have both the stock SG shocks and also Ultra shocks for my SG. The SG shocks ride better solo than the Ultra shocks, but with a load, the Ultra shocks are WAY better.

I would suspect that if I had a Tour Pak I would never run the SG shocks, because there would be enough weight in the rear to smooth the small hits on the Ultra shocks.

On my 06 street glide I put Progressive 440's on and would never go back to stock air shocks. I get a freat ride with the 440's. I weigh 225 and put the HD 440's on with the setting on the 1st setting and love them.

No, I did not. In retrospect, I wish I had bought the heavy duty.

I prefer the Ricor best, but was happy with both, but in fairness it's hard to compare because when I put the Progressive 940's on I also installed the Monotube fork kit, with the Ricor's I did the shocks and their front fork Intiminator valve, and it was two different bikes

What was your experience with the Progressive Monotube fork kit?
