Default thoughts on 2-tone tank paint job on road king

Thinking about painting my 2005 Road King which is currently black cherry pearl. I like the color but would like something slightly different. I have borrowed a couple photos and Photoshopped what I was thinking about.

Any thoughts or suggestion for other colors. I know they did this with black on the bottom but that's to dark for me.

hope this attachment works

Thanks

I think it looks good. Is that Birch White or Silver in your picture? I think either would look good

I must be the oddball, because I'm a fan of a single color on a Road King Classic. I think about it this way........ you have black cherry, lots of chrome, lots of black leather, and big whitewall tires. In effect there are 4 different colors going on. Now add another color to the lower half of the tank and you'll have 5 colors - too busy for me.

My two cents.

Too bad you weren't trying for white. I was thinking an off white or cream on the bottom like last year's turquoise and cream. I think that color combo looks great.

Maybe a wine color would accent the cherry also.

Cream, not white, is the classic HD two-tone color.
